Scholarships
The Mineralogical Association of Canada funds two annual scholarships to graduate students:
One $3000 scholarship to a student enrolled in an MSc program
One $5000 scholarship to a student in a PhD program
These scholarships are available to graduate students in the following fields of study: Mineralogy, Crystallography, Geochemistry, Mineral deposits, and Petrology.

Deadlines
Applications and supervisor/referee letters of support may be sent electronically or in the mail, and must be received by May 1st.
Official academic transcripts (undergraduate and graduate) must be sent in the mail directly from the institution and received by May 14th.
Eligibility
- Students holding any citizenship who are entering the second year of an MSc program or the second or third year of a PhD program at a Canadian university in September.
- Canadian citizens enrolled in the above or equivalent programs at any university.
